For more than three decades, Dr. Maria E. Bleszynski has helped women feel heard, understood and empowered. Her approach combines advanced medical expertise with genuine compassion—providing personalized care that supports women at every stage of life.

2. Education & Training
Dr. Maria earned her medical degree from Jagiellonian University in Krakow in 1977 and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. She moved to Canada in 1981, where she built a life and continued her medical career.
3. Building Her Practice
After completing her Canadian OB/GYN residency in Ottawa in 1989, Dr. Maria opened her private practice in Surrey. She continues to hold privileges at Surrey Memorial Hospital and serve women across the Lower Mainland.
4. A Lasting Impact
A member of the North American Menopause Society since 1991, Dr. Maria continues to combine clinical care with teaching, mentoring and evidence-based innovation in women’s health.

Dr. Maria’s journey has been one of resilience and strength. After losing her husband to lung cancer when their two sons were just seven and three years old, she continued building her practice, raising her family and caring for her patients with unwavering dedication.
